Freelance UX/UI Designer Wanted – Insight Driven Analytics (IDA)

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance UX/UI Designer to join our IDA team. The designer will be responsible for creating user-centric design solutions working hand-in-hand with our developers and project managers. Our value proposition is to quickly provide reliable solutions to our clients, and we are looking to join our team.

Scope of Work
• Create a detailed style guide covering typography, colors, buttons, input fields, icons, and other essential UI components.
• Ensure the style guide adheres to best practices in usability, accessibility, and design consistency.
• Set up reusable components in Figma, including variants for different interaction states (hover, active, disabled, etc.).
• Develop clear documentation for the effective use of the style guide.
• Provide expert recommendations for enhancing UX/UI across our products.

Requirements
• Demonstrable UX/UI design expertise, particularly with Figma.
• Proven track record in building style guides, design systems, or component libraries.
• Solid understanding of core design principles, typography, color theory, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear, helpful documentation.
• Experience with design handoff processes to development teams.
• Basic familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.).

• Engagement Type: Freelance/Contract (Remote)
• Compensation: Starting at $30/hour.
• Duration: Flexible, but we’re looking for someone who has the availability to partner with us long-term.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week

Compensation Package:
• 1099 contract
