Whym is a first-to-market commerce solution that converts a merchant’s customer inside of any messaging (or social) platform where they may meet. We are live and in market today with our first self-service solution and we are funded and ready to build the next major stage of our solution. Who Are You:
This position is 100% remote, a contractor position, working at a groundbreaking financial technologies startup with a product already in market. Opportunity to convert to full-time in the future (if desired).
Are you a designer who also has the skills to bring your designs to life? Then you are the unicorn we are looking for. We’re looking for a person who can both envision the user journeys and designs we need, and also turn them into working front-end experiences. Don’t worry about engineering the data or back-end layers, the rest of the team will take care of that.
Who We Are Looking For:
You will join our team at the intersection of sales, executives, and engineering with full support from our existing team of marketers, engineers, and other staff. We’re looking for a skilled designer who can work with our executives to come up with product strategies and goals. Then taking these milestones and goals
• generate world-class user experiences and designs,
• and get dirty with our engineers to polish off pixel-perfect implementations of these designs.
Our sales team is winding up for a major sales push, you will be expected to deliver designs, upgrades and new services at a reasonable cadence that supports our sales goals to keep this company on-track, growing, and progressing towards our target milestones.
Qualifications:
Ideally we’d love to see at least a couple of years of experience demonstrated by a portfolio of your previous designs, and a portfolio of React applications you’ve contributed code to (or built yourself). Here is a look at our current setup for this position
