Senior User Interface Designer – Synergy Interactive

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented Senior UI/Product Designer.

You’ll play a critical role in shaping and evolving the look and feel of our platform—designing key UI components such as buttons, search bars, skins (personalized themes and colorways for user logins), font systems, and more. Your work will help define and scale a cohesive user experience across products.

What You’ll Do
• Design thoughtful, beautiful, and consistent UI elements across web and mobile experiences.
• Create and refine design system components that scale across products and teams.
• Develop skins/themes that personalize user logins and interface elements with flexible, brand-aware styling.
• Partner with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to bring high-impact features to life.
• Advocate for visual consistency, accessibility, and design excellence across all touchpoints.
• Translate high-level requirements into detailed visual solutions that are both creative and practical.
• Contribute to and maintain an evolving design system used across multiple teams.

What We’re Looking For
• 4+ years of professional experience in UI/visual/product design, with a strong portfolio of digital work.
• Deep understanding of layout, color theory, typography, iconography, and interaction design.
• Proven experience working within and evolving large-scale design systems.
• Agency background or experience working across multiple brands/products is a major plus.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; motion or prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, After Effects) are a bonus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, low-ego attitude.
• Must be available to work onsite in NYC 4 days/week.
