Role Description
FOVNDRY seeks a Senior Interactive Designer to join our Rockville, MD team. This is a hybrid in-person/remote position. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver and agency veteran with proven experience designing and executing engaging interactive experiences across the digital ecosystem. Strong technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to deliver under deadlines are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with account leads and creative team members to concept, design, and deliver visually engaging and effective interactive assets and experiences across digital channels, including websites, landing pages, email campaigns, prgrammatic/HTML5 assets, and social media platforms
• Apply a strong understanding of UI and UX best practices to ensure digital experiences are intuitive, accessible, and optimized for performance
• Support the development of brands from the ground up, including strategy, logo design, visual toolkits, and style guides
• Evolve and roll out assigned brands, working with existing toolkits, style guides, and reference materials to develop collateral that is on brand
• Present work and effectively interpret and incorporate client and creative feedback while maintaining personal design integrity
• Work within agency project management and file review systems to manage personal workflow, schedule, and deadlines
• Stay on top of industry trends and continually seek training and education in new skills and tools related to your work
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5–7 years of professional experience in digital design within a creative/branding agency environment
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related visual communications field
• A strong portfolio showcasing interactive and digital design work, including websites, campaigns, and multimedia assets.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop; After Effects and Hype (or comparable) a significant plus
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles, UI/UX best practices, and asset optimization for digital platforms.
• Keen attention to detail and file structure/organization
• Highly collaborative, organized, and a self-starter
• Proven ability to prioritize, accountable in meeting deadlines, and a willingness to take ownership
