UI/UX Designer

Location: Washington, D.C. (5 Days Onsite)
Clearance: Secret Clearance Required
About the Role

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to create custom interaction designs and prototypes for enterprise websites and applications. This role requires expertise in user-centered design principles, responsive web design, and technical wireframing. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, UX specialists, and other designers to translate customer and end-user requirements into creative and functional solutions while ensuring compliance with federal standards.
Key Responsibilities

User Experience & Interface Design
• Translate requirements into wireframes and interactive mockups.
• Develop intuitive and user-friendly UI designs for enterprise applications.
• Ensure designs align with web standards and the latest industry trends in responsive web design.

Collaboration & Problem-Solving
• Work with UX specialists to uncover user pain points and test design concepts.
• Identify design challenges and develop strategic solutions in collaboration with product managers and subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Collaborate with other UX designers to ensure best-in-class UI designs.

Optimization & Best Practices
• Design and deliver optimized user experiences across various devices and interfaces.
• Apply information architecture principles to enhance user experience.
• Make strategic design decisions related to existing and new functionality.
Required Qualifications
• Secret clearance required.
• Expertise in UI/UX design software and prototyping tools.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and responsive design.
• Experience designing and delivering optimized multi-device user experiences.
• Ability to employ design thinking to address complex problems.
Preferred Skills
• Experience working in a federal or enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with agile development processes and creating wireframes for user stories.
• Strong ability to analyze user behavior and refine designs based on feedback.
