The Role
We’re seeking a Sr. UX Designer (Live Events) to join our Innovation & New Products group. As a key member of this team, you’ll lead the research and design of exciting new experiences for Compassion’s live events, helping us bring innovative products to market through agile and iterative methods.
You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and partner teams to transform visionary ideas into delightful live event experiences that engage and captivate our audience. Your expertise will help us deliver best-in-class experiences that inspire and motivate our supporters to make a lasting impact in the lives of children.
Responsibilities
As a Sr. UX Designer (Live Events), you’ll be responsible for:
• Driving the thinking behind research and design strategy and executing on the details to deliver a best-in-class experience.
• Leading the design of e2e CX journey maps of Compassion’s live events activities, user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes.
• Envisioning and bringing to life intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions and experiences that meet the needs of our users.
• Establishing design guidelines, best practices, and standards, leveraging up-to-date and emerging design patterns and trends.
• Presenting design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and executive leaders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
• 8+ years of relevant experience working in UX design, product development, or a related field.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and shipping consumer tech products at large scale.
• A strong passion for working backwards from the customer to create lovable products.
• Experience partnering with engineering, design, and operations teams.
