DPP is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer/Developer for an opportunity with our client in the financial industry in Columbia, SC.

Position description:
• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Designer & Developer to design and develop user-centric digital applications.
• This role bridges the gap between design and development, ensuring seamless integration of functionality and aesthetics.
• You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to design strategies, and build responsive, high-performance interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop user-friendly, visually engaging applications focused on usability, performance, and high availability.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to transform user requirements into stunning, intuitive interfaces.
• Utilize React, Next.js, and other front-end technologies to build interactive, responsive web applications.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights, refine designs, and enhance user satisfaction.
• Create and test interactive prototypes to ensure effective user flows and validate design decisions.
• Integrate innovative design elements into web interfaces to create cohesive and visually appealing digital experiences.
• Optimize front-end code for scalability and performance while adhering to industry best practices.
• Support design system development, ensuring consistency and flexibility across applications.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Centered Design, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of UI/UX design and development experience, preferably in financial services or tech industries.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design best practices.
• Proven ability to write accessible, semantic HTML and adhere to coding standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
