OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and collaborative UX Designer to join our growing Digital Product Design team. This role is ideal for a designer with a strong foundation in user-centered design and agile product thinking who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about creating intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, researchers, developers, and other designers to define and deliver user-centered solutions.

• Translate complex business and user requirements into intuitive, elegant designs.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows, that align with Navy Federal’s design system and accessibility standards.

• Coordinate with user research team for usability testing to validate design decisions.

• Help evolve and maintain our design systems and contribute to design documentation.

• Present and communicate design work clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.

• Contribute to design strategy for products

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience in UX or Product Design, preferably in a large-scale or regulated environment.

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of user-centered design projects with wireframes, and clear problem-solving and impact.

• Proficiency in Figma and XD.

• Working knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.

• Experience with Agile or Scrum workflows.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing for financial services, enterprise systems, or high-volume transactional interfaces and their role in customer engagement and service.
