Position Overview: As a Top Secret UI/UX Designer, you will develop and operate software for critical national security applications, leveraging SCRUM, SAFE Agile, and DevOps practices. Responsibilities include creating mock-ups, reviewing user feedback, updating style guides, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness, mentoring team members, and researching user needs. The role may involve coding, testing, debugging, and implementing web applications across platforms.
Responsibilities: Build mock-ups of intuitive interfaces.
Ensure a consistent look across case management development teams.
Review and adjust based on user experience feedback.
Work with users to understand use cases.
Update and maintain style guides.
Ensure designs are 508 compliant and responsive.
Oversee visual design efforts and lead projects.
Develop relationships with stakeholders and manage external resources.
Ensure project and change management compliance.
Create prototypes and research user needs.
Plan and facilitate usability testing, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
Qualifications: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years of related technical experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills: Programming: Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL.
Tools: GitLab, JFROG, Splunk, Hashicorp Vault, AWS, JIRA, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
Certifications: AWS Associate Level or above.
