Immediate Need: USA–Senior UX/UI Designer – Braintrust

Job Description

We’re seeking a dynamic UI/UX Designer to help build an external-facing mobile-first website. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging and compelling user experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work on transformative projects and be part of a collaborative and innovative team.

The designer will design intuitive mock-ups and wireframes and ensure seamless user journeys, especially as they navigate toward payment and checkout.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create user-centric and engaging designs for both web and mobile platforms.
• Develop detailed wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Collaborate with the product team to conduct user tests, gather feedback, and refine the user experience.
• Understand user problems and map user flows to ensure an optimal and enjoyable experience through every step, including “happy paths” and “unhappy paths”.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the design implementation is aligned with the original vision.
• Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends to ensure we are at the forefront of industry standards.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience working with a digital agency.
• A robust portfolio showcasing your previous work, design process, and outcomes.
• Proficiency in Figma is a must. Knowledge of other design tools, such as Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision, will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and experience in the e-commerce sector.
• Experience building consumer-facing mobile applications or websites, preferably with a sales funnel conversion focus
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
