Summary: As part of a cross-functional hybrid team, the Senior UX Designer will work closely with other UX designers, developers, marketing managers, and researchers to design and refine digital experiences-everything from concepting, low-fidelity wireframing, and rapid prototyping, to designing high-fidelity mockups with specifications for handoff to our development partners. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for visual, branding, typography, layout, and motion design, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role may also support broader creative initiatives, including digital marketing, web publishing, advertising and production projects and tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact digital experiences in a dynamic, collaborative environment. If you have a passion for user-centered design, compelling visuals, and digital storytelling, we’d love to hear from you.Requirements5+ years of experience in UX and visual design, creating best-in-class digital experiencesExpertise in designing task flows, site maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for responsive web and mobile applications, applying design system guidelines when appropriateStrong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator)Deep understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy in digital designAbility to translate user research, business needs, and creative direction into polished, high-quality designsFamiliarity with user research methodologies and using analytics to inform design improvementsWorking knowledge of the latest accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and how to apply them in digital experiencesExperience collaborating closely with developers to ensure seamless design-to-development handoffBasic understanding of HTML, CSS, or front-end development to enhance collaboration with developersFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban workflows and managing tasks in JIRAStrong communication skills, with the ability to present and masterfully articulate design decisions to stakeholdersWillingness to support additional visual design projects, including digital marketing assets and branding initiatives, as neededThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
