Base pay range $40.00/hr – $45.00/hr
Our client in Washington, DC is looking for a UX/UI Designer to join their team on a contract through mid-2026, with potential for extension or conversion. The position is 40 hours per week, hybrid, requiring two days in-office.
The UX/UI Designer will have experience gathering business requirements, ideating, and executing solutions. Collaboration with development teams to implement designs is essential.
Duties of the UX/UI Designer Work with stakeholders to understand project goals and develop UX solutions
Develop user journeys, prototypes, wireframes, etc.
Support UX research, including user testing, analytics, stakeholder interviews
Ensure final deliverables align with brand guidelines
Create interactive prototypes for stakeholder feedback
Design responsive and optimized interfaces for mobile, tablet, and web
Develop icon and pattern libraries
Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met
Assist in QA of code/webpages before launch
Requirements Minimum 5 years of UI/UX experience
Bachelor’s degree in design, UX, HCI, or related field
Proficiency with Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
Experience with .Net platform, ideally Sitecore
Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira
Understanding of 508 Compliance
